6X Telecom Academy (academy.6xcom.com) is a free, self-paced learning platform built by 6X Communications. It started as a telecom-only catalog (VoIP, SMS, eSIM, reselling) and has since grown to cover the wider skills that go with running a telecom or reseller business — public speaking, memory/retention techniques, Mandarin Chinese, touch typing, and a Biblical Ministry track — all under the same free account, progress tracking, and certificate system.

How it works

• A learner signs in with a one-click email link — no password required to start. A password can be set afterward from the dashboard for faster return visits, but it's always optional; the link never stops working as a fallback.
• Each course is a series of levels — short reading, interactive simulations (like a resell-margin calculator using 6X's real live rates), and a final quiz. A level's practice tasks (quick checks, fill-in-the-blank, etc.) must be completed before you can continue to the next one — you can't skip ahead by just clicking through.
• Progress and quiz results are saved server-side per learner, not just in the browser, so switching devices doesn't lose anything.
• Passing a course's final quiz issues a real, verifiable certificate with its own public verification link — not a client-side PDF anyone could fake.
• Finishing a course shows a Suggested Next Course card — one specific recommendation for what to take next, not just a generic "more courses" list.
• The HSK Chinese ladder is sequential: HSK 2 stays locked until you've completed HSK 1, HSK 3 until HSK 2, and so on through HSK 6. Every other course is open to start any time.

A memory aid in almost every lesson

Nearly every lesson across every course — Chinese, telecom, business, soft-skills — includes a short callout with either a funny memory story or a real-life example tying the lesson's content to something concrete, grounded in that lesson's own material. Academy's Chinese track has grown into its own self-contained learning system: HSK 1 through 6 (taken in order — see above), a dedicated Character course teaching radicals and mnemonics, Chinese for Telecom Trading, Chinese Business Etiquette (customs and hierarchy, not just vocabulary), and two Chinese Conversational Fluency courses focused on actually speaking naturally — shadowing, natural-speed listening, and real conversation patterns, meant to be taken after finishing HSK 6. Lessons mix several exercise types rather than one repetitive format — vocab and phrase cards with text-to-speech playback, a flip-card spaced-repetition deck, "Try Saying It" (browser speech recognition, Chrome/Edge only), stroke-order tracing practice, fill-in-the-blank sentence completion, "Listen & Choose" (hear a word, pick it from a word bank — no microphone needed), and "Type the Pinyin" (graded leniently, ignoring tone marks). Wrong-answer choices are deliberately picked to be phonetically confusable with the right answer (like shì/shí) rather than random, so the practice targets real pronunciation mix-ups instead of testing pure recall. • Chinese — over 120,000 words: every word taught across the published Chinese courses (always shown first when there's a match), plus the full open CC-CEDICT dictionary as a fallback layer, so a real search rarely comes up empty. Search by hanzi, pinyin, or English meaning (plain-ASCII pinyin like "ni hao" works even without tone marks), paste a whole sentence to look up every character in it at once, upload or photograph an image containing Chinese text to have it read the text for you first (OCR, runs in your browser, nothing uploaded to a server), or browse by radical family.
• Telecom — real terms and acronyms (DID, SIP, ASR, IRSF, and more) defined straight from Academy's own telecom courses, searchable the same way.

Memory Improvement course

Public speaking and communication skills
