Voicemail

Set up a mailbox on any extension, record a greeting, and get notified by email when a message comes in.

Voicemail

Any extension can have its own voicemail box. When enabled, an unanswered call is offered to leave a message after your greeting, and you (or whoever the mailbox is set to notify) get an email the moment a new message arrives.

Turning it on

  1. Go to your Extensions page in the portal.
  2. Open Settings on the extension you want a mailbox for.
  3. Check Voicemail and save.

A caller reaching that extension while it is unanswered (or busy, or offline) hears a short compliance-style prompt and can then leave a message after the tone.

Checking your messages

Dial *98 from your own registered extension to check your box directly — no PIN needed when calling from your own phone. Messages play in order, newest handled the same way as any voicemail system: press 7 to delete, or anything else to keep it and move to the next.

Email notification

Every new message triggers an email with the caller's name/number, the time received, duration, and a reminder to dial *98 to listen. This goes to your account's email by default; contact support if you need messages routed to a different mailbox address.

Why you might not get a message

  • Voicemail is off for that extension — check Settings.
  • The caller hung up before the tone.
