Fraud/Toll Check

Check a number against 6X's high-risk/toll-fraud watchlist before dialing or texting it - free lookup, one signal among others.

Fraud/Toll Check

Check whether a number falls into a known high-risk range (satellite ranges, small island NANP codes commonly abused for International Revenue Share Fraud, and similar) before you dial or text it — a lightweight early-warning check, not a full fraud investigation. Try it free with no login at 6xcom.com/fraud-check.

    {
      "prefix": "870",

}

What this is — and isn't

This checks a number's prefix against 6X's own maintained watchlist of ranges known for toll fraud, satellite premium rates, and similar abuse patterns — the same list our internal fraud monitoring uses. A "no match" result means the number isn't on that watchlist; it is not a guarantee the number is safe, and a "high risk" match doesn't mean the specific number you checked is definitely fraudulent — it means the range it falls in commonly is. Use it as one signal among others (e.g. combine with Number Lookup and your own usage patterns), not as a sole automated block/allow decision for anything high-stakes.

Billing

Free — this is a local table lookup with no carrier involved, so there's no cost to pass on.
